Shoes must be removed before entering the temple premises. As a sign of respect, it’s customary to bow or prostrate before the deity. Speaking loudly or creating a disturbance inside the temple is considered disrespectful. Many people also make offerings to the deity, usually in the form of flowers, fruits, or sweets.
