Introduction

Varanasi is famous, the world over for its pulsating culture, the ghats along the banks of the holy river Ganga and its 23,000 odd temples which include the Kashi Vishwanath temple dedicated to Lord Shiva with whom the city is synonymous with. Hindus believe that death in the holy city of Varanasi would lead to their salvation and this belief draws the devout like a magnet, to visit the city at least once in a lifetime.

Day 1- Delhi -Haridwar

Arrive at Delhi airport, pick up and drive to Haridwar. Local sight-seeing tour of haridwar and Ganga aarti at Har ki pauri. Stay overnight at the hotel in Haridwar. Temples & Sight Seeing – Har-ki-Pauri, Chandi Devi & Mansa Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple etc.

Day 2- Haridwar- Guptkashi

Drive to Guptkashi along with river ganga till Deoprayag. Then along Alakhnanda up to Rudraprayag then Along Mandakani till Guptkashi. Arrive and transfer to camp/Hotel. Dinner and night stay at the Camp/Cottages/Hotel.

Day 3- Guptkashi-Kedarnath(darshan)

After breakfast, we proceed to Sonprayag. After medical check up we proceed to Gaurikund. Then we begin our trek to Kedarnath. The government has put up tents for stay at Gaurigaon, Bhimbali, Lencholi and Kedarnath, they will also provide meals and medical facilities at these locations. After darshan at Kedarnath overnight stay at Kedarnath hotel. You can also prefer Helicopter ride for Kedarnath Darshan at Sersi Helipad. For Helicopter bookings, please make it confirmed before arrival.

Day 4- Kedarnath-Guptkashi

Trace your steps back and return to Sonprayag. Drive back to Sitapur or Pandukeshwar. Stay overnight in hotel in Guptkashi

Day 5- Guptkashi-Pandukeshwar

After an early breakfast, we proceed to Pandukeshwar. We halt for some time enroute at Chopta. Chopta is popularly called as the ” Switzerland Of India”. You can enjoy a splendid view of the snow capped Himalayan peaks from here. Enjoy the beautiful drive through medicinal forests. When you arrive at Pandukeshwar check into your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6- Pandukeshwar - Badrinath-Uttarkashi

Get up early in the morning and see the beauty of the majestic Neel Khant peak. There is a hot water spring here called as Tapt Kund. The devotees take a holy dip here before taking Darshan of the Badrinath Temple. Have your breakfast and then drive to Mana Village. This is the last village on the Indo-China border. Dep 11:00 then drive to Rudraprayag. Dinner & stay overnight at the hotel

Day 7- Uttarkashi-Rishikesh

After breakfast, we proceed to Rishikesh. Evening visit Ramjhula, Lakshman Jhula, Geeta Bhawan, Shivanand Ashram, Ganga aarti at Parmarth Biketan. Stay overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 8- Rishikesh-Delhi

After breakfast transfer to Delhi. Trip Ends.
