India only offers the three-day Dev Dipwali Varanasi tour once a year. Dev Dipawali is observed at all Hindu pilgrimages, but Varanasi, the oldest city still inhabited today, is where one can experience the most splendour and participation.

When all the ghats along the banks of the Ganga River and Hindu temples are bathed in the light of countless earthen oil lamps during this Varanasi tour in honour of the Dipawali of the Gods, it is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Dev Dipawali is the ideal time to explore Varanasi’s vibrant religious, spiritual, and cultural aspects. Kashi (also known as Varanasi or Benares) has frequently been referred to as India’s cultural centre.

A ghat tour, temple tour, heritage walk, morning and evening Ganga boat rides, an evening Ganga Aarti ritual on Dashashwamedh Ghat, and a trip to Sarnath are all included in the Varanasi Dev Dipawali vacation package. The government just unveiled the Alaknanda, a luxurious cruise ship, and its services are now available.

In addition to these sights, Varanasi’s bustling market and handicrafts are also investigated. One can savour the delectable Varanasi cuisine throughout the heritage stroll trip. The Dev Dipawali Varanasi trip must be scheduled well in advance because it would be difficult to find a hotel room during those times.

Day 1

A well-known Hindu holiday called Dev Dipawali is extensively celebrated in Varanasi. When you arrive at Varanasi’s airport or train station, a representative from our company will meet you there and take you to the hotel so you can relax.

Attend the Ganga Aarti at Varanasi’s Dashashwamedh Ghat in the late afternoon. After that, board a boat and cruise down Varanasi’s ghats while being illuminated by countless earthen oil lamps. During Dev Diwali, a boat trip on the Ganga provides a beautiful view of the city and its elegantly decorated monuments.

On the ghats, worshippers congregate to float camphor in the Ganga while it is ignited on plant leaves. Return to the Varanasi hotel later in the evening to spend the night.

Day 2

Exotic activities and sightseeing fill the entire day. Varanasi is first explored under guidance in the early morning hours. You will be taken on an early morning boat journey on the Ganga to help you comprehend the significance of the Ganga in the lives of the people of Varanasi.

A Hindu pilgrimage is a kind of spiritual journey into the mystic way of life. Observe worshippers completing religious rites, taking daily baths, and offering the God Sun “arghya.” On the boat tour, you can see some of the most important places where people bathe, worship, and are cremated.

The Varanasi tour guide will lead you on a heritage stroll through the historic Varanasi after the boat trip. The heritage walk mostly goes through small streets and goes to well-known temples like the Vishwanath Temple and the Annapurna Temple. It also shows the people of Varanasi how they used to live in the past.

After that, head back to the hotel in Varanasi for a rest and breakfast. Travel to Varanasi’s temples, including Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan (Hanuman) Temple, Manas Mandir, Durga Temple (Monkey Temple), and Birla Temple at BHU, in the late morning. You will later be taken on a trip to Sarnath.

At a deer forest in Sarnath, a Buddhist pilgrimage site, Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to his pupils. A few of Sarnath’s top tourist attractions are Buddhist temples of various nationalities, a crumbling monastery, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, and an archaeological museum are a few of Sarnath’s top tourist attractions.

Return to the hotel for the night after visiting Varanasi’s top tourist sites.
